I forgot to say -- if I am so sick I can't read (which is rare) then I take enough drugs to put me to sleep. LOL. Cause I am REALLY sick.

Now those are a drag! The first time I got pregnant it turned out to be ectopic. Only it was discovered on a Friday and the Dr. had weekend plans. So he scheduled the surgery for Monday. By then I had a belly-full of blood. Too young to realize that I should have sued the SOB. Barbara Dream Master

What is this going to do to your newly funded bead business?

I"ve now developed a fever, so i'm relegated to bed until it's gone. Fun...NOT. I've watched movies and read and beaded until my eyes are crossed. I guess i'm just not a very good patient this time around. There's so much i wanna do, but i can't...waaaaahh. How the heck am i gonna survive being laid up after the hysterectomy? Ok, i know, it's the fever talking. But i did manage to make four beaded ornament hooks....LOL.

Hehe, is that a beg, Cheryl? Mine are due to be addressed this weekend, and my gifts, which were supposed to go out today, will go out tomorrow. I'm not spending another day in bed...can't. But I promise to take it easy. I'm only doing three things tomorrow, going to the post office, grocery shopping (which includes taking food to a friend who's sicker than i am) and helping DD with homeschool lessons. DH is under strict instruction to clean the house and do laundry tomorrow evening...and he'll do it, i'm certain. Meanwhile, i've got a bell...and getting waited on. Barbara gave me the idea to work on my website, so i'm off to do that for a while...

Thanks, Di....

The hooks...well, DD absconded with one of them already. That purple one i was doodling for you earlier, she's using it for her new ballerina ornament (we each get a new ornament each year to symbolize something significant for that person in that year...trying to find DH one that has to do with delivering packages...something similar to UPS). But I'll make more. I'm toying with the idea of taking a big focal bead, and wire wrapping it with seed beads. For the hooks, I think i told you i'm using 20 gauge wire? They're fun, and fast. DH likes em, so what more can i want?

Not much. I typically torch in the evenings anyway.

Hi Jalynne,

I hope you get better soon. I don't get sick often but when I do or if I'm just too tired to think I go through my bead books and magazines and plan projects that I may or may not get to. I also do bead weaving which sometimes doesn't involve a lot of thought. I'm the type (like most of this group it seems) who cannot just sleep or watch TV, I always have to be doing something.

BTW, my daughter had a nasty cough over the weekend and I tried some mullein drops that worked great.

Take care of yourself.

I am exactly the same way. I have to make a real effort when I want to be awake during the daytime for a scheduled event. :)

good, I'm not the only one that has three at a time going. I've been looked at as though insane for that. Sarajane

I never get sick *of* reading, just unable to do it, and not too often that....but there are some times, migraines especially, wherein ones eyeballs might as well fall right out of the sockets--perhaps it would relieve the pressure, and they're useless then anyway!! Sarajane

I'm not saying that you're not insane (like insanity is a bad thing?), but I always have multiple books going at once, too.
