ROFL!! After I get thru with these two dealers on eBay, you may have to bail me out!! Actually, they are both very helpful.

PS.....Mine is in June, so I will see what you get me and then decide. LOL.

Oh Heather, Heather, Heather....you don't want to play these games with me, LOL. You are now playing in the big leagues.

You see, I'VE ALREADY GIVEN YOU A STRAND OF EMERALDS.

Yup. Top that.

Fondly, Becki

LOL......and for which I can't thank you enough!!!! You are such a pussy cat!!!

Now I am in for it, I guess. Better go find something equal to two of those strands, grin.

Hugs from the Great White North.....Heather (stressed out from learning how to manoeuvre in eBay, grin)

well, there are two reasons I wont't buy them for you:

1-they are priced by the piece (and what is one bead?) 2-Burmese gems aree boycotted

Otherwise, no problem

wikipedia:

The United States has placed a ban on new investments by U.S. firms, an import ban, and an arms embargo on the Union of Myanmar, as well as frozen military assets in the United States because of the military regime's ongoing human rights abuses, the ongoing detention of Nobel Peace Prize recipient Aung San Suu Kyi, and refusal to honor the election results of the 1990 People's Assembly election.[60] Similarly, the European Union has placed sanctions on Burma, including an arms embargo, cessation of trade preferences, and suspension of all aid with the exception of humanitarian aid.[61] U.S. and European government sanctions against the military government, coupled with boycotts and other direct pressure on corporations by western supporters of the democracy movement, have resulted in the withdrawal from the country of most U.S. and many European companies. However, several Western companies remain due to loopholes in the sanctions.

Ok those beads live in New Mexico. No import.

Becki

but the stones are Burmese, and again what kind of man would give a woman one bead?

OhMIGOD.....I nearly bid ont hose things....for Becki, of course. If you hadn't pointed out that they were sold by the piece....I'd own ONE bead. Holy smokes... I'm off for reading comprehension lessons......

Well they are gold and ruby, well worth the price. I don't care if the rubies are Burmese or not. They are already in the country, just like buying ivory that is already here and was here before the ban. It is legal. And I asked you all to buy them for me -- not a man! LOL

Becki

I think the price quoted is for ONE bead... are you converting from silver to gold? LOL
