It wasn't me but, small world thing anyway! There's a member of our beadmaking group (all the way out here in AZ) who's from Coney Island. I lived in Brooklyn (the cheap side of Park Slope) for 5 years. We got to talking yesterday and she was so happy to talk "landmarks."

How long ago did you live in Park Slope? I never knew there was a cheap side. It's very expensive to live in that area. Lots of Famous folks living there also.
The person I'm looking for also had a link to his stain glass website.

I lived on Bergen Street between 4th & 5th Aves in the mid 80's. My rent was $350. I even had a tiny piece of back yard where I grew veggies, my neighbors grew grapes and we shared, it was great. I've heard that the area has been seriously gentrified. One of those good news/bad news things, I guess.
We're heading east tomorrow, to my Mom's in PA. From there we're going to the beach, a rental at Long Beach Island, NJ. Can't wait! One of the few things I miss about my ex was his aunt & uncle's house at Kismet on Fire Island. Lots of nice summer memories.
