Mom got to go home from the nursing home today. She's tired, of course, and has a lot of adjusting to do. She's also sad because she's learned that her roommate probably won't make it. Typical of mom to be thinking about someone else! She has a wheelchair and a walker and her bathroom has been retro-fitted with all sorts of gadgets to help her out. Thanks for all of your kind thoughts and prayers... I'm sure she would appreciate you all remembering her as she reclaims her life. Hugs to all of you! Karleen Page/Vibrant Jewels JustBead Auctions

glad she is home -- keep reminding her that this is NOT an overnight process.... My aunt (in her 80's ) had a hip replaced last spring -- and thought she should be back up and running in a few months. Truth is -- it takes at least a year to get totally back to where you were... So - when she moans and groans - tell her take it one day at a time...
