We always look at the impressive beads and I have some here to share too, but I thought I'd start with some bead makers who make reliable simple beads

I like Dave Rasner of River Oak. And I have a set of these beads and the combination of light amber and aqua is wonderfully clean and warm.

Serena makes all sorts of beads. The woven beads I have are in copper green etched. These are like a fabric pattern Gumeson Designs. Very well done dots, spacers, etc. Lisa Anderson of Stefanie Lampwork does great accents/rounds These beads by Dan Echevary I call "dotted hats" and make great earrings Those bead makers are all skilled. Beads are well shaped, colors are intentional and clear, details well placed. And the prices are very good. Then come my favorites Iris Bucholtz Mary Lou Cooley Marie Glass Lori Robbins Calvin Orr And the ones I used to be able to afford Ann Rickerts Aimee Milan (though I've liked other beads of hers better) And ones I hope to afford some day Andie's Glass Shari Slonski reminds me of Barley Sister's Beads are delicious Tina
