Pete bought a portable saw mill. He needs to be able to control his own hours because of pain issues. And we want to build on a lot without permafrost, and with southern exposure. Big post and beam lumber that would be to expensive to buy. So I'm looking at my beads again with thoughts of fan pulls, drawer pulls, etc.

I've taken some of my drawer pulls and beaded over them in a circular peyote. Looks pretty cool.

I make little bowls that way, though I haven't made any for a while.

What else do you do? If you introduced yourself, I missed it. My newsgroup service has gotten so incredibly poor I have a hard time being a good correspondent in my groups.
