Re: New Corina Bead

I was seeing a lot of light pink/light green in the shops earlier this summer...

That garnet flutter I got from you went really well with real garnets.... I think I got them from Rio Grande.. the amadine(?) variety (a little redder than some of the others). Kaytee "Simplexities" on

Cool! I have a mandate from Mike that I need to get to Artgems with some of my "toughie" beads to do some matching. Me? Forced to go to Artgems? Yeah, kicking and screaming (when he pulls me out the door after he sees the price tags.)

Karen, check this out for the BEST GARNET COLOR EVER... (I'm really excited about it, can you tell?)

Bullseye Sunflower Yellow under Cranberry. It's a perfect garnet color!

Not copycatting me - lots of artists do it. :) Do it - it's wonderful on both ends - if you have the time. :)

I'm not sure where I'll get the time... but I LOVE the idea!

Sure. I'll e-mail it to you, or something. Right now, it's only partially assembled-- needs to be longer, and I'm trying to figure out where I stashed my

4mm and 6mm RQ beads. Then, I'll need a bit more Bali but exactly what will need to wait until I have the stone beads. Then, I'll have to decide on a clasp-- the one I've put in with the "kit" is probably going to be too small for the finished necklace. And... I'm thinking of trying "matching" earrings....
