Who suggested PeTina? I love the name Patina for a jewelry store that specializes in silver, or any kind of business that is trying to convey a sort of spiritual wealth; the kind of value objects only pick up from being cared for. PeTina has that connotation to me, and is very memorable as well. If you are comfortable giving up the alliteration, you could be PeTina: Gifts to nurture the soul. Or something like that!
My fingers, toes, eyes, and everything else I can think of are crossed for you! I have no thoughts on the name thing, but I hope this engine thing goes well!
Hmmm, Petersons Present or Petersons Pieces. I especially like "Present", as in living in the here and now, and being present and accountable, etc. "I am here", what more needs to be said. (Though plenty more needs to be shown).
And besides, all those pretty names are a dime a dozen here, and too easily confused with other businesses.
Both Pete and I work with an eye toward healing, energy work, shamanism. In these areas it is considered very inappropriate to make claims. Reiki Beads for example, which is on the net, would be consider very improper among the people I work with.
The way I figure it, they will be looking at a product. If they like it they will find out who made it, and that's all they'll have to look for. The product is all the message they need, and the creator of it is all they need to know for the source.
The people I know who successfully sell art their work sell their art as "a Judy Gumm pin", or "a pair of Pat Perlemann's earrings", or "one of Kim Roberts' beads". I don't feel a need to use something diffrent from my name. Addition maybe, but not a change. And I don't want to preclude it being suitable for Pete's work in addition to mine.
So for URLs, what do folks who simply use their name do? Go with debbiekesling.com or something? About six months ago, I came SO close to getting bytink.com
Yeah, that seems to be what a lot of people are doing. (I couldn't get my own name though, shucks!!! I tried to get it even though I've owned Celestial Beads for years and years!).

Well that sent me out searching in Google. So far I do see that most use a different business name (though I also think most of these listing are stores). But I think most of the people I know would be more familiar with the name of the artist than the business name. And from the list I found I'd say about one tenth seem to have websites. And it looks like a third of them use theirnames.com. Most use what I think is a store name.
Tink, do you sign any of your work? If so, what would you sign it as? I would want the signature to reflect my name and the business name both. Something like a Crescent for Christina, with the PP in it, would reflect both.
I had to get dreamweaverstudio, because Microsquash already owned dreamweaver.com. I should have bought it years ago. I've had the company for almost 16 years. But I also own barbaraotterson.com. That way if anyone looks up my name, it sends them to my website. Barbara Dream Master

Tina, having read through some more of this thread, I do like Petersons Present, but I like PeTina QUITE a bit too. Or even PeTi's... As far as stamping it onto things, you could use PT instead of PP.
