I am happy to sign the above petition. I have some AH beads which I bought before I learned that they came from China and more importantly, that they were probably not annealed. I emailed AH's owner, and he replied that the beads WERE annealed. Unfortunately, I didn't save the email he sent me. I'm going to test this by annealing them in my kiln (in a pyrex bowl) this weekend, and I'll let you know the outcome.

Thanks! Patti, when you get the results let us know.
I've written to AH asking where the beads are made but no reply. Silence is not always golden.

Thanks, Ingrid. I'm waiting till we hit 100 and then I'll email the link around to various people such as AH/Rokosz himself and the editors of the various magazines so they can see how people feel about the issue.
Then, I'll do a petition if they _don't_ start listing their items as made in China, and that one will be sent to every person at eBay and the magazines asking that they be barred from further advertising/auctions till they fully disclose the place of origin of their beads, noting the previous petition in the new one.
It's so easy, all they need to do is be open and honest about the country of manufacture and drop the nonsense about the 'studio' in Canada.

Ok, we're over 100 signatures in a day, so I think it's time to invite AH to join in too! Maybe they'll sign?

Patti, just so you know, they are probably a high-COE glass and need to be annealed at about 840 degrees or they will slump.
Also, re-anneal> I am happy to sign the above petition.

Thanks, Lori and everyone else!
Check out this page on SpiritWorks, she has a lot of good things to offer on her site and this page really hits the nail on the head about beads:
