small kiln?

I'm new to lampworking and wonder if there is a source for buying small kilns sold by anyone who would be upgrading to larger ones? Thought it was worth asking since this is the most expensive hobby I've fell in love with! Thanks

Check WetCanvas - their swap shop forum sometimes has kilns being sold by those who are upgrading. Link:

Also, ebay and the ISGB forum might be good places to look.

Smart idea. Unfortunately, there are more of us here wanting kilns than wanting to sell. But hang around. There are lots of lampworkers here as well as beaders, and it's a fun place to hang out.

My new kiln was delivered today, but I can't imagine getting rid of my Toolbox Annealer! I love it! I figure if I'm working boro and have a flash of inspiration for a Moretti piece that I can just fire up the little one and use it for that. Also doesn't hurt to have a backup kiln.
