Because I work in a super cool place, everyone is getting a magazine subscription of their choice through a magazine vendor. I can subscribe to one of the following magazines - which one do you guys recommend?
Art Jewellery Simply Beads Bead and Button Step by Step Wire BeadStyle
I have bought BeadStyle mags before, so I don't know if I should try the others...
Art Jewellery - metalwork, casting, PMC, some polymer clay Simply Beads - not familiar Bead and Button - good all around mag - beadweaving, stringing, wirework, clay, etc. Step by Step Wire - Ok for wire things. I usually find it too basic. BeadStyle - stringing only, some wire, nothing else Beadwork - stringing and beadweaving, some wire, no clay of any type Bead Unique - full range of projects, not just jewelry JewelryCrafts - smaller all-around mag. used to subscribe, no longer do Step by Step Beads - all around mag, good mix of projects

If you can only pick one, I'd go for Bead & Button, it has the most consistent mix of good quality projects out there - although Beadwork and Bead Unique are just about as good.
I get Bead and Button, Beadwork and Bead Unique-all offer information and levels of difficulty-some of the others are very basic and not so informative for me.
For example I post a yellow sticker at any project I am interested in doing- the above 3 mags all have stickers and I noticed the others didn't.
It depends on what you're interested in. Bead and Button is my all time favorite, but I've picked up, at one time or another, all of the others.
I also get Step by Step Wire and agree with Barbara that it's a little basic. It's improved, but is still not as good as the now defunct WAJ magazine.
I thought Simply Beads and BeadStyle were a little basic, too, but I've only had a few issues of those. My next choice would probably be Beadwork, but for now I'll stick to just getting the two I have.
Like Jan, I've put post-its in my Bead and Buttons, for all the projects I want to try, and there's a lot of them!
