Hi! I want to upgrade to a bigger embroidery area machine but have a limited budget, not enough for an ULT machine. My current machins has a 4x4 area. Are any Borther PC 6500 or 8500 owners out there that can give some adivse about these machines.

I have an 8200 and love it. I upgraded to the ULT but decided to keep my
8200 to use and eventually give to my daughter (early 20's) who is into sewing now. I know many people in the Brother Club who are very happy with their 8200/8500 machine. Linda, Richmond VAi have a babylock ellure...which is similar to the 6500. if you have the softwear for your 4x4, i dont know that you really need the edit capabilities of the 8500.... betsey "we do not inherit the earth, we caretake it for our children"
