I have researched until I have a stack of papers on the desk that are three inches thick. I purchased Rayon thread (because of the recommendation of the dealer that I purchased the embroidery machine from.) The patterns that I have purchased from OESD call for Isacord thread. Can someone out there tell me where the best conversion chart is located for Isacord to Madeira thread is. I can purchase Madeira thread for 1.65 for poly neon thread or pay twice that for the Isacord. I am looking for anyone's opinion. Thanks

I hope this does not come across as blatant commercialism but.... We produce a software package called 'MyThreadBox' that will convert to and from approx 25 thread palettes (Isacord and Madiera are of course in that list) - we also give you a database for your threads and printable shopping lists after the conversions are done - we do all of this using very sophisticated digital color strength matching - much more accurate than thread charts.
