Is the embroidery thread Coats & Clarks [sold in Wal-Mart] the same as Sylko which is labeled Coats? Sandy

No it is not------Sylko is much better. I have sewed with both.............Just be sure it says SYLKO......just in case they might start carrying it...........

-- I read about them either on this list or another forum. They're having a special this month (and maybe March) for any orders over $100 there's a 10% discount plus free shipping. The regular prices for their Madeira thread is $2.15 for 1100 yd spool of rayon, and $1.65 for 1100 yd of poly, plus free color charts and spool end caps. They also carry Coats. This is my first time using them, so I'll let you know how the order goes, but this was the best price for Madeira that I could find.
