A friend with a Janome 5700 is thinking of buying an Echidna Sewing Easy Writer to write free designs downloaded from the internet to a Janome Memory Card to use in her machine- does she need the Customizer as well or will the Easy Writer do everything? Does any one have the Easy Writer and what do they think of them? Thanks.

I have a Janome 8000 and I use the Echidna Easy Writer and I haven't had any problems with it. I use BuzzTools to convert the designs to the Janome format.
