I wonder if anyone here had experience of making embroidered cards? I am particularly considering making embroidered invitations for my wedding. The same design will go to the center of a napkin (which will be a favour for each guest).
Please share your experiences. I am wondering if it is possible to embroider on paper itself. If so, which paper should I choose and how do I hoop it? I have Platinum Plus, so it just goes with standard hoop.
If it is best to choose fabric, then what kind?
Can I embroider on a transparent material which will later attach to the paper card with a ribbon?
