I am starting a custom hat company and am looking at getting the Toyota ESP9000 as my main machine. Now I am trying to figure out if this machine can do seam tapping inside of hats. Does anyone do seam tapping inside of hats? Is it difficult? How do they do it? Here is a link to what I am talking about
The manufacturers of hats do the taping not the embroidery people.
Do you want to create hats or embroider them? The ESP9000 will not get you far manufacturing hats unless they are a crochetted lace style.
This is mostly an embroidery, and a little bit of sewing group. Manufacturing hats is out of most of our realms. We can buy ball hats for $0.50 to $10. Why would most want to create our own?
Maybe you can talk to garment manufacturers. Most of them are in Asia as their labour costs cannot be matched and N.Americans cannot complete and do not.
