Newbie question: How to put heat seal (iron on) backing on the patch?

I am new to embroidery business. I try to find out how to make a heat seal backing patch. I have done a lot of research but I couldn't find any place that sell the heat-seal-sheet (or whatever it's called). Where can I buy it and are they expansive? Is it difficult to apply on the patch?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Have you tried basting some iron-on interfacing to the back of you patch ? The same kind of stuff use to stiffen collars and cuffs. Should be available in any fabric store. Mind you, I don't know if it will hold over the long term but you might want to give it a try.

word to the wise you will want to attach it with the sticky part facing out.

Hmm... I will try it. I don't expect it is that hard to find the exact material people used for heal seal backing.
