PE Design 5.0

Can anyone give me some good hints on how to get started with PE Design? I am very frustrated. No help from dealer as far as classes go, but I can't go to them everyday. I have requested classes and they are in the process of developing some at my local store. They have offered them at their other stores, but not convenient for me, and I am very frustrated.



I am really not interested in purchasing books which are over $100 dollars or CDs that are expensive, but if that's all there is, I guess I will have to.



I have a line drawing I am trying to get a design for. I have scanned it and put it in Design Center, but there are so many points I don't know what to do next.

Someone posted excellent video tutorials on "alt.binaries.crafts.pictures" a few weeks ago for both PE4 and 5. Maybe you could ask for it to be reposted. It is a full-cd tutorial of everything you can do with PE5. I was quite impressed with it myself and am now using PE5 a lot more than I did before. If you are really into machine embroidery, subscribe to the above mentioned newsgroup and you will find lots of goodies!

Of course keep in mind that most of the postings on that newsgroups are stolen.

If you go to Yahoo.com.....you will find groups for every craft there is............The one i think would help you most is the Pre-Designergroup............at Yahoo.they cover everything you are wanting help with............ Good Luck.............
