Hi. I have looked at Viking, Platinum plus; Elna, CE20, Janome 9500. Which of these is a good quality machine. I want to do some quilting as well as some embroidery and of course sewing. Need help in making decision. Platinum plus and CE20 runs $2400. Is this a good price? Thank you in advance for the help.

I got my wife the Brother ULT2003D with PEDesign 5.0, the quilting hoop, buttonhole kit and the boarder kit..for $2795.00 no tax and free shipping... $1500 cheaper than my local dealer would give it to me for....
Those are all good quality machines. Have you considered getting the Janome MC300e for embroidery and another machine for sewing? Say something like the Janome MC6500, or HV Platinum 750 or 770?
