A mold turned from oak may not provide much value. As long as your customer doesn't need more than a dozen parts or so, it should be ok. Part of the cost of providing molds in knowing how to use them so you can guide your customer through the process.
New to Glass Game so I have no idea how long a wood mold will last. My molds are not aimed at the mass production market but for limited runs. In this case it was for a batch of 30 for a restoration job. I have no doubts that your graphite molds will outlast my wooden ones I doubt that you would make a similar one for $200. I have searched the web and can't find any information on mold making you have any sources?
May help some
Art, maybe the best strategy is to just post erroneous solutions and answers, rather than questions, and let cognoscenti correct you until you learn what you want to learn.

Good idea! Until you remember there's a Brady factor lurking out there.
