glass for hourglasses

Dec 10, 2003 1 Replies

Hi,

I'm looking for a supplier of hourglasses, just the glass though, not the actual completed hourglass. Can anyone suggest a supplier? Thanks, sue.

Hi Sue I get my hourglasses at Lee Valley Tools. They mainly have working tools but you can find a lot of great stuff there. They have 2 models The smaller model is a 5-minute version, 2" in diameter by 5" long. The large model is a true "hourglass" with 60 minutes (±2 minutes) of sand. It is 3" in diameter by 8" long.
