glass for melting in molds

I would like to know, where to buy lead glass for kiln casting (mold melted glass). I buy 48 % PbO glass in North Bohemia, but here is limited offer of colors only. Thanks for information Jan

I can't answer your question, but for anyone else not versed in reading headers, you might have mentioned that "here" is The Czech Republic.

Thanks, sorry, you are right, I forgot to mention, that I am from Czech Republic. North Bohemia means north part of Czech Republic, but it is nonsense to suppose, that anybody will know it. Once more thanks, Jan

If you can't buy statisfactory high lead casting crystal in your area in the colors you want, I seriously doubt you can buy it any where in the world as it has been the source for decades. In the states (and presumably) in Germany, the reference would be to Schott Glass

formatting link
which has links to other Schott sites. Depending on what you want to do, other kinds of glass with lots of colors are used for casting, in particular, Bullseye
formatting link
here in the states.

I know that a glass artist named Jayne Persico has a contact with Watorford Crystal in Ireland and she has cast some of their crystal.
