I want to buy a kiln to use at home to slump, fuse etc. glass but am getting very frustrated trying to find any advice or suppliers in the UK. Can anyone PLEASE help. I know I need internal dimensions of at least 30x40cm. Is there a kiln out there that will do glass and ceramic effectively but seperately?

two that spring to mind where glass kiln users visit.Alternativey do a google on the phrase"glass kilns" in UK I just did that and got hundreds of urls to look at.
Most of the kiln manufacturers in the U.S. make kilns that will run on UK power. The best one that comes to mind is Arrow Springs. I know that they ship fairly regularly to the UK. You will want to talk to Craig Milliron. Tell him I referred you.

Have you tried Potclays in stoke on Trent? They do a good range of kilns. most pottery kilns will be ok for glass as long as you have the right kiln minder. Also have you tried the new ready mixed investment called "Glass" made by SRS Ltd (uk) it works very well and saves buying Molochite and plaster plus addittives seperatley.

most pottery kilns are not, i repeat not well suited for fusing. buy a fusing kiln if that is what you want to do
