glass to glass glue recommendation

Hi,

I am looking for a glass to glass glue to repair some Swarovski crystal animals that have come apart. I would like something that does not turn yellow as the crystal is clear.

Thanks in advance, Luna

This glue works extremely well. Cures in seconds when exposed to daylight (UV lights work too). Makes breaks disappear.

I got one better for ya... Loctite 826 UV glue. It's in a yellow bottle. A bit spendy but well worth it! I've actually broken glass trying to get it apart!

The Loctite website knows nothing about this glue, and none of their "glass to glass" glues seem to come in a yellow bottle.

Does it have another name perhaps?

cheers, Marc

Loctite makes any number of UV adhesives but only a few that are optically clear. #349 which is also called Impruv, 363 and one. The two adhesives mentioned are for all intents and purposes the same except they have differing viscosities. You would want the least viscous of the two, 349. There is also a ver excellent company called Dymax that has optically clear adhesives. You can obtain them from Dewey Assoc. I believe they are on the web. Call them up as it is a family company that resells the product and you can tell them what your after. Good people. You will need a black light to cure the adhesive. Sunlight will work but it can be a pain especially if you live under winter clouds.
