Hi all, i'am just starting to learn how to sew and takeing lesson but having problem pining up my material to sew on the other side. today i got a fabric glue stick and the sale woman told me it will work but it do not hold two fabric together until i can reverse the material and sew it up. would like to know is there some find of glue out ther that i can get to sew through. thank in advance.

hello why are you wanting to glue the fabric...are you making clothing or a craft item?? if it is clothing i think you should use pins...i have never used glue unless it was crafts but i could e wrong hmmm let us know what you are sewing good day to you...jennifer
If pin-basting is not working for you for some reason (?), try hand basting.

would *not* recommend any sort of "glue", fabric or not, for basting.
