A WIP is complete!

I finally finished the green quilt I started several years ago! It's a twisted log-cabin pattern that looks like pinwheels. I hand-stitched a celtic knot pattern as my quilting pattern, and it looks great, IMNSHO :)

Tried to upload the photos to RCTNP, and all that shows are blanks?!? Makes no sense, especially when you consider the pics are well w/in the size limits. Weird. I may try again after EGA.

I will check it out shortly, don't think there are any problems. Did you check your link through to the pic was correct ? Size doesn't matter because Yahoo resizes them correctly anyway. You can link through to a RAW pic and it will just downsize it.

It might just be that Sunday was a busy day, in which case sometimes it takes a few minutes to upload, I find the same thing with flickr on weekends.

I just tried and you're correct, only blanks showing. I will wait until tomorrow (sometimes these things are just blips) and then contact them.

OK - here is their answer - I just uploaded a trial pic and all was well. Let me know if you still have problems.

I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and have some information to share with you.

Our Product team has reported that the issues with photos has been resolved. However, if some of you continue to see issues, it is most likely due to a cache error. In most cases, this is resolved by clearing your browser cache, and then refreshing the page where you are continuing to have issue with photos.

Here are the steps for clearing your browser cache:

If you use Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 or 8:

  1. From the "Tools" menu, select "Internet Options."
  2. Under the Browsing history section, click the "Delete" button.
  3. The next window will give you a choice of what is available to delete.
  4. Please choose each step, one at a time:

- Delete "Files."

- Delete "Cookies."

- Delete "Form Data." (Forms in IE7 only)

When you click the "Delete" button, a pop-up window will appear "Are you sure you want to delete?." Please select "Yes."

If you wish to delete everything, and do NOT store passwords, then it is ok to delete everything at once by clicking the "Delete All" button at the bottom.

Please note: This may take several minutes.

  1. Click "OK," and then close your browser.
  2. Re-open your browser, and return to Yahoo!.

If you use Firefox 3:

  1. From the "Tools" menu, select "Clear Private Data."
  2. Make sure the following boxes are checked:

- "Browsing History"

- "Cache"

- "Cookies"

- "Offline Website Data"

- "Authenticated Sessions"

  1. Click on "Clear Private Data Now."
  2. Close your browser.
  3. Re-open your browser, and return to the page you were experiencing issues on.

Once this has been done, please try refreshing the page on which you are experiencing issues in Yahoo! Groups.

If all else fails, please try to use a different browser - i.e., if you are currently using Firefox, try Internet Explorer, or vice versa.

If you're running a browser other than those listed above, and would like more information on how to clear your browser's cache and/or cookies, please refer to your browser's help file.

We hope the information provided is helpful. If your issue still persists after you complete these steps, or you have further issues or concerns, please reply to this message, and we will gladly assist you.

Thank you again for contacting Yahoo! Groups Customer Care.

Well, I tried again. No luck. This is coming off a Windows 7 platform. Haven't tried to upload since I upgraded OS, so that may be part of the issue. The cache isn't.

Did you actually clear the cache and refresh the page ? Perhaps even reboot for good measure ?

I alwys turn the PC off when I'm done using it, that's why I questioned the cache answer. So it's been rebooted 3 times now.....
