This would suit as a wedding gift too, maybe? I just love it. It reminds me of our snowy winter.

I see she`s still doing them all the same - just changing colours and sometimes using a mirror image! You`re right though - it would make a lovely wedding one, - even better if there had been a groom too!

I see it at $15 I can spend on something original.

I own Celtic Christmas's chart, paid the money, it sits in stash. I think she's still the prettiest of the 5, and if I'm not inclined to stitch her any time soon, I really don't see the need to buy any of the copies.

I guess the nicest thing that I can say about this one is that it's what I expected - a color conversion of an earlier chart. I fell in love with Celtic Christmas when she came out, but haven't stitched her yet. I'm guessing she'll remain the only one of these that I own. And if I don't feel like doing her in reds and golds, I'll work up my own color conversion... and put the price of this chart towards something I really want to stitch!

Well, I'm glad the series is finished, anyway. I can't in all honesty say that I've loved anything after Celtic Christmas. I always thought it should have been called Victorian Christmas, but I "got" why she named it that, due to the influence of the concert she'd attended. The rest of them have just seemed to be reworkings of the same thing. And I haven't liked her color choices at all. As I'm not a big fan of the color purple, I knew when I saw Spring I was probably not going to like the rest of the series. I thought she was a bit mean-spirited in creating her own threads, then including them in those designs, forcing her more devoted fans to spend even more money on a design that's simply Celtic Christmas reworked.

I think it's safe to say I won't be adding it to my Stash. I'll just haul out Celtic Christmas and enjoy the original. Tegan

I've noticed the same thing and with Mirabilia's work too. It's partly funny to use same face in each designs, even if it's mermaid, queen or a girl...

Yep, and in Winter there is some really expensive beads. I don't care, as I can't get the beads or the special flosses anyway, so I'm just going to change things anyway ;)

:D I didn't know (at first) that Christmas was first of the series. That's the one I like least of them. I think it's too red :D But when Autumn came, there was really much fuss about it, that it's not about Autumn. I think there is more suitable colorings for it than the purple/violet. I mean, in Finland, Autumn is all about oranges, reds, yellows and bits of green. There's no sign of violet anywhere!

If I happen to get these charts for really cheap from somewhere, I'll be doing them all, but they cost 23 USD in Finland, and at this point, only Christmas and Summer are for sale. And as a skein of DMC is 1.7 USD and rising, that's not a way to go :(
