Chocolate is NEVER O/T

From my trivia list:

I always knew chocolate was better for you...

Although many people believe raisins are much healthier than chocolate, they can cause a higher incidence for tooth decay, due to their sticky properties and adherence to the tooth's surface for prolonged periods of time.

I know around here it represents sacrilege, but I prefer raisins. I quite like white chocolate, but would still put raisins first.

recently read that a certain amount of dark chocolate is actually recommended *daily*. Can't recall if it was Reader's Digest or AARP. Works for me. Do brownies count? :) They're dark right?

Ugh! White chocolate isn`t even chocolate!

I love DARK chocolate - and it`s particularly good for you. It`s low in sugar, and only today a man was saying it helped him to lose 5 stones. He had one square of dark chocolate instead of a sweet/dessert every day, and found that the more powerful taste of dark chocolate was much more satisfying than any sweet/dessert. Green and Black`s organic dark chocolate is wonderful - I don`t know if it`s available on that side of the pond. This all reminds me that I bought a big bag of liquorice from the health food shop - now WHERE did I put it?

Wonder if I dare risk sending you a chocolate cherry mousse by airmail? Might be best to wait until winter, though.
