About a year ago, I was in my LNS, Cross Stitch Cupboard, and Maria, the owner, asked me about producing patterns form pictures. Another customer, Gail, had been trying to find how to get it done. I got into contact with Gail, and after the usual difficulty of explaining that you either have a lot of detail, or a picture small enough to stitch, I finally produced a pattern for her. It was a painting of a pet dog, who went to Rainbow Bridge, and a poem written by a member of her family. Today she sent me a picture of the finished, framed stitching; which looked absolutely wonderful. Thought I would share.
Different sort of happy dance.

That's great news, Jim! I'm sure it makes you feel really good inside to know that you were able to make her happy.
btw, did I ever send you the results from stitching the fairy ornament? I know I still have all the papers at home but don't remember if I did or not.
Joan
I dont remember either, but I think so.
