Congratulations - they played a great game.

You should hear the deafening silence where I am.

Proud Native New Yorker.

Nuff said.

:)

WooHoo----I'm still a New Yorker at heart so it's the same thing here !!

Here's the rest of the bottle of champagne. Catch!

We had been at a Super Bowl Party but left at half time (DD and I had been up since 4:30 AM). But stayed awake at home to see the end of the game.

DH was rooting for both - the 19-0 would have been great, but he still loves his Giants. Both kids now want Giants jerseys..... Like I'm going to find them in Pats country. C

Got it ! See me pouring it into my coffee cup.

Hmmm. Too bad there's no such thing as internet shopping, huh?

Only when you are sure of the sizing - DS can be anything from a large to

2XL, depending on cut and length. DD is long in the waist and broad of shoulder. C

You shoulda been here in the Big Easy. Remember, although I don't follow any sports, even I know that Dad Archie Manning is a former football star, eldest son Peyton is QB for the Colts and youngest son Eli is QB for the Giants. Both lads went to local high school and played here. Well, I was standing at the top of my street, minding my business

- which happened to be watching the Bacchus parade (Bacchus is one of the biggest, flashiest, longest etc. parades). I was standing near the plate glass window of a local restaurant when I noticed lots of people cramming inside there. I wandered over to see what was going on, hoping it wasn't a disturbance of any kind, when up went an almighty cheer.

*ELI. ELI. YAY. ELI* AS you will gather, that was the final few seconds of the game.

This morning, the local paper can hardly contain itself. Bacchus parade last night, Orpheus (Harry Connick Jr's parade) coming up tonight, and Mardi Gras tomorrow, PLUS Eli has now equalled his big brother. Breathless prose all over the place.

We watched without really rooting for one over the other, but my dd was very disappionted the Pats lost. Why? "Because I love perfection." LOL!

And jerseys, by definition, should be too big.

Elizabeth

This is one of those times were you need them to try it on. DS has a Yankees jersey - had to get it ordered as the size is not "commonly in stock"

C

It's a tolerance thing. I do quite a bit of my clothes shopping online and simply send back and reorder what doesn't fit correctly. It's cheaper to pay postage than it is to spend my time and diesel running around. YMMV.

E.

So, buy the largest potential size and if it's loose, fine, but at least you won't have to return it for being too tight.

My dsil is from Mass. dd tells me this was a MAJOR disappointment.

Ah - but you aren't 15 any more....

I'm headed to Modells tomorrow while DS in in guitar lessons.

C

Oh ya - the DS report was "it was very quiet today"

C

I can only imagine.

I'm surprised no one has called for the head of any of the coaching staff on a platter a la Salome

Neither are you...

and it's not the 15 year old running around, is it?
