Happy Dance!

I have finally, after working on it off-and-on (more off than on, I admit) for two and a half years now, finished Mirabilia's "The Kiss" - happy day! I stitched it for a friend who bought the kit and was intimidated by the thought of stitching on linen, and by the Kreinix metallics, and by the beads. It's really pretty and all, but it's not really something I would have chosen to stitch, and I am glad glad GLAD it's finally finished. And I found the beading on it to be an absolute nightmare. Nine "empty" stitches, nine beads - no problem, right? HAH! Nine beads don't fit in that space, thankyouverymuch, no matter how much I want them to; the crowding meant the beads were pushing each other out of line, so instead of a nice neat row of beads --------- I had a rail fence line of beads ---_--_-- I ended up cheating and leaving out occasional beads to keep the crowding down. Was it just operator error, or have others had this problem?
