That's not nice on a persons birthday - besides which - I am NOT smiling - that cat has to have dental work tomorrow to the tune of $457.00 - plus I will have to catch her first, this shouldn't happen to a dog.

DD last hockey game of the season. The girls lost and she was heartbroken. C

poor Sheena - how does one catch a cat that doesn't want to be caught.

With great difficulty lol I decided she had to have a trip to the vet as she was suddenly losing clumps of fur. She is so shy that although now she will lie near me etc. she doesn't get on my lap or anything like that. From time to time I grab her and make her stay while I groom her and clip her nails.

Last week I managed to grab her when she didn't expect it but she escaped as I put her in the carrier, so then the chase was on. I was just about to give up and 'phone and cancel the appointment when she made a bad error and ran into the closet. So I ran in too and shut the door lol

What really teed me off was when the vet removed her from the carrier, what a nice cat, she almost purred. He should have been purring. He did say one can leave the teeth to rot out but I feel that would be cruel, so we are doomed to play catch again tomorrow.

The only thing I knew about her was that she had been spayed at nine months and her age as the trustee found a vet clinic card in the womans papers. So she has been a healthy little cat really, she is 14 now and other than being spayed, this is her only woe. I did call the other vet clinic to see if she had a file but she didn't. I just wish she would be a little more affectionate for my trouble lol

What you could try is as follows; Get a long piece of string and tie a small piece of paper or kitty toy to one end of the string. Stretch the string across the floor passing the other end of the string through the kitty cage. Pull string and hopefully the kitty will chase the paper or toy and end up inside the cage.

BE FOREWARNED!! Some kitties are ALMOST as smart as doggies and will not fall for the trick. Fred
