Help from the historical reenactment folks - stitching related - lucet

It was not a VIRUS ! It was spyware being dumped on the visitor and I object to that, I have no desire to have my comings and goings tracked.

Nope - checked with the local Mac expert - the guy said the firewall we have would "repel" attempts to load spyware, and I'd never be the wiser.

Hmmm...I can't find it on their website, but I noticed a lucet at the Colonial Williamsburg gift shop the other day. I don't think it was expensive, but wasn't looking closely. Might be worth a phone call to them if you haven't already come up with something.

Best wishes, Ericka

Have you tried , three UK pounds (about six US dollars) for a kit that includes the wooden Lucet, wool, pick and full instructions. And has lots of history as well as some interesting modern developments.

I have got that kit somewhere in my stash. I bought it at a craft shop about 4 years ago. Made several cords with it. Shirley
