Kreinik Metallics

Most likely that means one strand as it comes off the spool. I don't know of any of the Kreinik metallics that are made to be divisible. I have had designs that use two or three strands together, which may be why the designer specified one strand.

Try a little FrayCheck on the ends before stitching. You cut the ends off when you are finished. Will not harm your needlework and stops such alot of the fraying.

I must admit I prefer sewing with braid than with blending filament. If c gold blending filament is required I`d rather use a fine cord if at all possible - it`s more manageable.

More manageable to you Pat. I hate the stuff. It took the fun out of the cross-stitch for me. The blending filament works much better for me; mind you, I'm using floss too - / one strand floss, \\ two strands of floss, then / one strand of blending filament. It gives me just the amount of sparkle I like and doesn't drive me crazy. To each their own I guess. One of the girls at my LNS said the same as you - you're both crazy!! :-))
