I finally finished the Koi Pond Blackwork picture that I was complaining about. Using a single strand of Blending Filament is for me somewhat like water slowly dripping, or some other form of slow torture.
But I like the finished product.

I like blending filament as well, but only if it's actually blended. I'm using 1 strand of filament and one strand of DMC to highlight areas of the dragon I'm doing now.
This was used in a single strand, on a very closely stiched blackwork piece and unless I used a 12" piece it either tangled or broke or shredded.
LI don't mind using blending filament the way I've been doing it - / DMC \\ DMC / BF. With the project I'm working on - Mermaids of the Deep Blue by Mirabilia - it gives me all the dazzle I want cuz the pattern is so loaded with beads. I hope I still like it when I'm finished cuz it sure is a lot of work.
