Needlepoint Stores in Rome, Italy

I am going to Rome on vacation. Are there any fabulous needlepoint or embroidery stores that one must go to?

Thanks! Ciao!

Someone on another board asked this a couple of months ago so I posted to an italian stitching board I read. This is what I got:

Downtown near Piazza Venezia there is Canetta @ 157/B Via IV Novembre they are the company that publishes the embroidery magazine Mani di Fata and they have a store where you can get fabric, books, patterns and supplies. Their website is:

there are many textile shops along Via delle Botteghe Oscure near the Ghetto in the Largo Argentina area. Then a little ways out of the "downtown" area (you can take the metro and it is apparently well worth the trouble) there is Rinaldi-Decoricamo @ 61 Viale di VALLE AURELIA you can see their website:

there is the embroidery school/laboratory:CBCneedlepoint @ #1 Via Confalonieri Good luck and let us know what you find. Buon viaggio! Jeanine in Canada
