Needlework book distribution in North America

My mother was in London, England and sent a letter to her mother in Plymouth, England. She used an air mail envelope as that was what was to hand. The letter arrived months later having been to Plymouth's all over the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand before someone thought to try Plymouth, England.

Mail goes astray even without that sort of confusion. My senior year of college, a friend who'd gone on to graduate school sent me a note that she was coming home for the weekend and wanted to get together. By Sunday night, I still hadn't gotten it. Eventually it showed up, with postmarks from Kansas and South America. Judy has large, bold, rounded handwriting -- in no way does her "Pennsylvania" look anything like "Kansas" or "Columbia".

Hi Jeanine! (It's Elena, from the Italian embroidery list!) So Lilli (Liliana Babbi Cappelletti) wants to start distributing her books abroad...Well, that's excellent news! She is a very competent teacher, she knows perfectly well a lot of techniques and she's been teaching them for years. Her books are very instructional, though very 'poor' to see: they look (and probably are) printed on a laser printer, no glossy paper, no great photos...But if you want to learn a technique, they are great. All the instructions are very clear, with lots of diagrams that explain every step, and explain very clearly even how to start and end. I only have a couple of her books, but they are great and hope to buy others too (postal charges are high for Italy too, it's only that postal service in Italy is really very expensive!). As for money matters, I think the easiest way to transfer money would be paypal...Bank drafts are far too expensive to transfer small sums of money. Elena
