OOP Needlework book

Apr 08, 2006 3 Replies

Greetings Group -

I know there's a reference book that's OOP that's been discussed a lot, and was going to be redone as a cd.

The book I believe was spiral bound, and was just a how to do all manner of needlework stitches.

Sorry I can't think of anything else about it.

I appreciate all your help. TIA

I assume you're looking for the book, and the name of it.

Probably a book called "The Proper Stitch", by Darlene O'Steen It's way OOP, and while it was released on CD a few years ago, that edition is also way OOP.

If you find a copy of it, it's usually fairly expensive.

I have no idea where to look for it. Used bookstores, maybe. EBay, sometimes (I will warn you though -- about 4 years ago I sold my copy on eBay. I set the starting bid at $25 (which is what I paid for it), and iirc it sold for $130. Be prepared for sticker shock.)
