Letting you know that I have been keeping a diary, as Sheena warned me to do. Met with the attorney yesterday. She seemed quite intelligent, knew her stuff, and impressively recalled our phone conversation from a week ago without looking at her notes. That was nice. Gave me a packet of stuff to review so that my DB (the attorney) could check it out before I sign anything, no pressure - which was nice & reasonable. Seemed quite straightforward. Bottom line, I had a good feeling in speaking with her. We met for about 90 min, which was generous, she was obviously very familiar with the cycles of concussion syndrome, and all the stuff that goes with accident settlements, recoveries, and the laws in this state and what special circumstances that apply because of who DH works for, etc. All good stuff.
Bottom line, I do believe that we'll be hiring her. It will make life much easier. Not that it's just about the money - even with giving her a contingency fee it will work out to my benefit - no doubt.
On the health front - concussion stuff still with me- headaches not as continuous. Still disorganized. Still can't really stitch. But, no bleeding in my mushy brain - had MRI last Friday. Seeing neurologist on Wed. Hoping to start PT for increasing/spreading back-hip & neck pain soon.
That's the deal. Woo hoo.
And, I have not been to any of the wonderful CAPS play-off games yet, and our house is kind of messy as I'm not really up to doing a lot of house work. But, I'm going to brave Verizon Center tomorrow...Saturday mid-day game. We'll see how that goes - if it's really loud - I'll go hang in the club instead of at our seats down by the ice. It may not be too loud at the seats 'cause the glass does sort of shield us from some of the PA noise. We'll see. Fingers crossed.
