Remember the ice cream ball I had so much trouble with through Groupon? I did get my money back, and DD Cathy got one for me in UK.
I returned a week ago from my trip (see alt.beenz for details if wanted) and last evening we tried out the ball with the little DGSs. It took longer than necessary to make the ice cream, because there wasn't enough ice, and Dil went out to buy more to supplement it. The 2 little boys played rolling it to each other, until the 2½yr old was tired, then the older one, Luke, carried on with his father. They had fun, but I was amazed at how long he continued at his age, 4 3/4, and eventually the ice cream was made.
The result was delicious, and I hope they'll take the trouble to do it now and then.
