OT: New Job!

Yippeeeee!!!

I start my new job as a receptionist/admin asst tomorrow! I found out yesterday, but needed to tie up some loose ends at old job (like quitting on the freaking spot and then shopping for appropriate office attire! LOL)

Job itself looks like a cakewalk, mostly switchboard and misc office tasks.

Mostly it pays better and has better hours than my retail job. One Xmas in retail was enough for this young GOW!

Oh, well done, Caryn, but I should think twice about quitting on the spot! It`s always best to leave with good feelings - you never know when you might need a good reference!!! ;-)) Glad to hear that things are working out for you, anyway.

Caryn I am so happy for you. I couldn't work retail ever again. I did it in my 20s for a few months, then I ran out of there.

This is great news. I didn't forget you, look for something in the mail soon...

Yippeee! good luck with the new job. Ruby Socrates speaks to jury at his trial: 'If you offered to let me off this time on condition I am not any longer to speak my mind... I should say to you, "Men of Athens, I shall obey the Gods rather than you."'
