OT Swearing in Quebec

Since we've had several discussions of Quebec's unique collection of curse words, you might be amused to note that Roman Catholic churches in Quebec have launched a campaign to remind people of what the words mean. In days gone by, people were aware they were blaspheming when they yelled "tabernac", but Quebec is so secular now people might be yelling "calisse" out of habit. So they are putting up advertisements with the words in big letters, and their actual meaning below. Maybe my church's sign should start a similar movement here, beginning with OMIGAWD. Dawne
