Partly OT, Aya's needle work and photos of Kaito's visit

formatting link
above has photos of Kaito's visit. Ayako and Chris were here for 2 weeks and left to return to Japan today. There is a picture of our Cheryl (RCTN) and her Ellice as well as a 5 generation photos of our family. Also I charted a photo of Kaito and Ayako could not wait to start it. The result of her work after 4 days is also posted. I'm going to miss my grandbaby. SIGH!!!! Love in Stitches Bobbie V.

Open the Grandson Kaito Album. They are about 1/2 way down in the album. Bobbie V

But the namesake has a more normal spelling - I believe it's Elise ;^)

Very cute - all the pix.

Kaito is precious and I know Bobbie you will miss him.

The picture of Elise and Cheryl is great and points out that Elise looks just like Cheryl's Mini-Me; not a bad thing to be.

Then she really is the lucky one. She got all the cute. I saw her picture in hockey gear. Hard to believe a feminine little girl like that can look so formidable.

My father raves about how "feminine" all the girls are out of their gear. My thought is how hockey gives them the confidence to stand tall and tons of self assurance.

- it is funny though - long dark hair in a braid, cute as a button in a shirt that says "The only reason I go to school is to play hockey".

LOL - I'll have to find one of my old team pics. Some really good looking women on the team - but in gear it's a difference. We have a pic without helmets on - all posed - then the normal player ones are a hoot. One of my best friends - very attractive - the size 4 all muscle, no body fat, about

5'4" blonde - but pretty seriuos in her gear. We won't talk about the gals that look scarey all the time ;^) But, we did used to get asked out a lot from our mens' league buddies - who thought we were at least 10-15 years younger than reality.

I think all really athletic girls are like that - or at least I notice that on my dd's swim team. The ones who are serious about it (and at her level, they are) stand straight, are outgoing and confident. Almost all of them are A or B honor roll too.
