Question for the long haired Stitchers

I've got a question of all of you that have long hair.

Is it just me, or does your hair get into a knot after sitting and stitching for a while? The couple of times I've forgotten to braid it and pin it up, I've gotten some really snarled knots right around the neck level.

I'm gonna LOL if I'm the only one this happens to... Becky A.

Nope. Me, too. Something about the angle that it lays on my neck, and looking back and forth from work to chart seems to do it.

Weird, eh?

And here I thought you would be asking if anyone else gets their hair stitched into their piece!

You don't need long hair. I have noticed that on all my stitching, there are tiny red hars; thanks to the dachsies, Max and Gretel!

Mine, Puff's and it seems to me whoever has ever passed this way. I get hairs in my needlework that don't seem to belong to anyone I know. You think I might have hairy ghosts?

My knots up at the neck, too. It's worse if I'm beading.

I have a theory that when, in the distant future, archeologists from another galaxy arrive on earth, they will do DNA analysis on the hairs stitched into the stitchery of the 20th and 21st centuries and come to the conclusion that all our work was done by cats!

Most assuredly! I like to "help" my mom with her stitching. She must have a speech impediment, though, because she pronounces it "hinder".

I like to think that someone will conclude that humans had short striped hair.

In Ancient Egypt, cats were revered as gods. Cats have never forgotten this.

I'll bet none of you silly cats can compete with the 8" to 10" long, silky hair in my tail for stitching into something. My mom threatens me with cutting it short so she can use it instead of paying so much for a skein of silk floss.
