I finally finished the twin-size quilt I made for a neighbor's daughter for her HS graduation - just in time for her to bring it back to school for her winter term. I stitched the binding by hand, and now have an interesting callous in the middle finger of my right hand. I stitched that so much on Thursday and Friday nights, my thumbs were aching from the way I was holding it (working in hand)!
Now--back to playing with silks in cross stitch!
I'll post a photo when I have it developed.
