real newbie to quilting question

Jan 09, 2006 2 Replies

Does anybody already know some decent web site links to 'how to'? I keep finding sites MUCH to advanced for me.

I've only ever done sorta just throw some squares in a row and sew the strips together...

I'm trying to make a small baby quilt where the edges ACTUALLY match the joining squares edges. Would not have thought it would such a challenge :-(

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks all :-)

UMM, Sandra, you're sorta in the wrong newsgroup. A number of us here quilt but this NG is mostly for different types of embroidery -- along with all the off topic stuff :-). You might want to try RCTQ -- rec.crafts.textiles.quilting -- for better info if you haven't done so already. They are VERY nice over there and will give you wayyyy more info than you ever thought was available. CiaoMeow >^;;^<

ahhh - thankyou :-) I will try there!
