Stash Enhancement

I finally got to my LNS which is closing shortly. She had a sale, but there wasn't very much that I wanted and the threads and fabrics weren't sale priced at all. I did manage to get a Drawn Thread Souvenirs chart at a 25% discount, so all is not lost.

Does anyone out there want to buy a thriving needlework business, in a nice part of Stuart, FL. I've always felt her prices were a bit high, but nearby towns are quite wealthy (Jupiter Island has the wealthiest residents in FL, including Tiger Woods and Greg Norman) and I guess people are willing to pay for good service. I know she's looking for a buyer.

But Bobbie and I would have to move to Florida....

(we did talk about buying out our LNS, which is also closing)

That would be perfectly okay with me. I'm afraid the hockey might suffer a tad, but think how nice it would be for you to stay warm.

But if WE go and buy an LNS, who will be left to shop at it? We'd buy all of our inventory! {At least that is how I feel with the news of so many store closings. :-( }

I would come and shop. I can think of nothing more fun than a shop being run by the likes of this group. I get this picture in my mind of controlled chaos, lots of expertise and mostly a lot of giggling.

Given the choice, I'd rather buy Lucille's LNS in nice warm Florida than Cheryl's in frigid New Hampshire.

Y'know, Cheryl, the kids can learn to play FIELD hockey. :)

But when Florida is 100+ and torrid, NH is balmy and inviting

NEVER!!!! Actually, they've both learned to play field hockey. It just doesn't compare!

New Hampshire's not frigid at the moment, but my dad says it's too hot in Florida.

Why not? I don't have enough to do. *snicker*

Your dad is right!! It is as much the humidity, as the heat.

You're dad is right. I know how odd it sounds, but I'm delighted that I'm actually going to be able to wear a very light jacket today, but with short sleeves underneath. I would dearly love to have to bundle up and walk in the snow.
