Stash news

First - found at the library sale room, "Counted Cross-Stitch Designs for the Home" by Jana Hauschild Lindberg. Copyright 1985. Very Scandinavian in feel, some pieces look dated, but others have a timeless quality.

Second - my Christmas gift from my neighbor - a pair of antique scissor. They look to be silver or silver plate with a pair of silhouette portraits near the finger holes. There is a tiny angel/cherub near the screw. I'll take pictures and post them on RCTNP later.

Thirdly, a little enabling. I received a flyer from Edward R Hamilton Bookseller, and in the needlecrafts sections, there are two Helen Stevens books and something called Animal Embroideries and Patterns from 19th Century Vienna. (I'll be warming up that credit card shortly.)

Hugs all, I'm hoping to stitch in a while. I have the final bits of grocery shopping to do and I'm way behind on the laundry. I won't mention the state of the house.

Some nice botanicals and a great penguin for DD

Very nice. The one in Manchester is clearly suffering from lack of management and poor building issues. It always smells sour in there now.

If I get the chance
