Stitching giggle

I've just discovered that Darling, Dearest Daughter has absconded with the lettering chart from Everyone's Nook and colored each and every letter- in Sharpie, bold, black, wide tip Sharpie

I may laugh about this later, but I had carefully pulled it out so I could chart my name, I'm so close to being done - ARGHHHHH

oh no LOL! Reminds me of a time a few years ago when DD decided to open EVERY single Lee Valley Watchmaker case I had (oh maybe $200 worth - close to it at least)

I came out of my room one morning to hear Emily going "Pretty Pretty" - I then noticed the trillion mixed beads all OVER my coffee table.

I still have them in an ice cream container - haven't had the heart to even TRY and sort them yet ROFL! Perhaps I'll save them for her when she's older

You got that right

Are you headed this way in next few days? Interested in making the daylily meeting in a weeks time?

Thursday night, with both dogs in tow. Lesson's over at 8pm.

Bahhhahahhhhhaa! Not only am I entering overdrive season at work, but just tonight DH and I emptied out the living room of all but one piece of furniture. Ceiling guy comes tomorrow with sheetrock. Then we need to finish peeling wallpaper, skim coat, and paint. Then the floor guys come, then we can put everything back. I think I won't be doing much in the way of extracurriculars until the "put everything back" part is done, since most of it ended up in the dining room which doubles as DH's office and he's already claustrophobic about it!

I do have daylilies peeking up in the yard, though. Hope we don't get another frost!

And just to make this stiching related, most of my stash was stored in a big chest with wicker drawers (just the right size to file patterns sideways) in the living room. Carrying all those drawers up stairs to the third floor made me realize that I really need to go through and do some purging.

Gee - you have a whole week or you could bring him with us! Good food, great speaker!

Even if it does frost, they will be fine!

I've been doing a little of the same.

Just discovered that one of the grandsons is working as a decorator for a firm where he lives! How useful - for his poor old seriously aging grandparents who really need some painting done! We`ll have to invite him on holiday for a week! Hee hee!!!
